District Attorney: A 20-year-old Albany Man had 71 Crack Cocaine Baggies

 From today's press release:

District Attorney P. David Soares announced today that MARQUANNE HOUSE, 20, of Albany, pleaded guilty to (1) Count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a Class B Felony, before the Honorable Peter A. Lynch in Albany County Court yesterday morning.

An investigation by the Albany Police Department uncovered that on January 29, 2014, at approximately 5:55pm, at 34 First Avenue in the City of Albany, HOUSE did possess with the intent to sell (71) baggies of crack cocaine that were secreted in his person.  



HOUSE faces up to 7 years in State Prison, to be followed by 2 years of Post-Release Supervision when sentenced on October 28, 2014.

Assistant District Attorney Kurt Haas of the Street Crimes Unit is prosecuting this case.
