Happy Hispanic Heritage Month!
Sept. 15 is the starting point for Hispanic Heritage Month celebration because it is the anniversary of independence of five Latin American countries: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. In addition, Mexico and Chile celebrate their independence days on Sept. 16 and Sept. 18, respectively.
The Hispanic Coalition NY is proud to announce that nominations for the 2015 40 Under 40 Rising Stars Program are now being accepted until November 15, 2014. All nominations must be submitted online here: http://www.hcnewyork.com/
