University at Albany’s Confucius Institute Hosts Sichuan Opera Troupe

What:

The University at Albany will host a troupe from the Sichuan Art Vocational College of Chengdu, China, performing selections from the distinctive Sichuan operatic tradition, including demonstrations of the remarkable arts of "mask-changing" and "fire-breathing." The performance marks the tenth anniversary of the Confucius Institute program worldwide.
