Albany Man Pleads Guilty to Dealing Drugs

District Attorney P. David Soares announced that TERRELL MCDONALD, 24, of Albany, pleaded guilty to (1) Count of Attempted Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a Class C Felony, before the Honorable Roger D. McDonough in Albany County Supreme Court this morning.

An ongoing investigation led by the Albany Police Department uncovered that on March 12, 2013, MCDONALD sold crack cocaine in return for a sum of US currency.  The Albany Police Department recorded audio of the sale and arrested MCDONALD.



MCDONALD faces up to 4 years in State Prison, to be followed by 2 years Post-Release Supervision, when sentenced on November 21, 2014.
Assistant District Attorney Kurt Haas of the Street Crimes Unit is prosecuting this case.
