Albany's Cash for Coats Program Details To Be Announced On Tuesday


Program to Benefit Elementary School Children in Need

Mayor Kathy Sheehan and Cash for Coats program partners Jack & Mark Yonally of Lodge’s Department Store, Albany Devils CEO Chris Ciceri and Albany School District Superintendent Dr. Marguerite Vanden Wyngaard.  
Where: Albany City Hall Rotunda (24 Eagle St, Albany NY 12207) 

When: Tuesday, October 14 at 10 a.m.
                          
What: Mayor Sheehan and program partners will announce the 2014 Cash for Coats Drive, a community-based program designed to collect funds to purchase new winter clothing items for Albany schoolchildren in need. This year’s Cash for Coats Drive will take place at the Albany Devils home opener hockey game at the Times Union Center on Saturday, October 18. Ticketholders are encouraged to make cash donations of any size at the game. Donations will also be collected at City Hall, Lodge’s Department Store, the Downtown Albany BID Office and the Central Avenue BID Office throughNovember 1.
