Police: Woman in Colonie Stabbing Has Died

A woman put in a medically-induced coma following stabbing injuries to her throat has passed away, police said.
Jacquelyn Porreca, 32, of Colonie died at Albany Medical Center Sunday as a result of her injuries sustained Friday, according to a Colonie police spokesman.
There is no information on a possible suspect and the investigation is ongoing.
